American Society of Mechanical Engineers at Cornell

Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

The Cornell University Student Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME at Cornell) was established in 1908. Since then, ASME at Cornell has been supporting the Mechanical Engineering community and the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Cornell. In recent years, we have been focusing on serving our undergraduate community to provide professional development, educational resources, and social opportunities.

Currently, ASME at Cornell comprises approximately 200 undergraduate students almost evenly spread throughout each of the four undergraduate years. We aim to expand our presence on campus this year through our wide variety of events, and exploring new opportunities with employers and campus resources alike. Our Executive Board is currently composed of 8 members; our most up to date leadership information can be found under the leadership tab of this website.
